SMS Messaging Terms and Compliance

SMS Program Description

Johnsonandcoadvisory offers an SMS messaging program for individuals who voluntarily provide their telephone number and separately opt in to receive text messages.

Depending on the consent selected, messages may include:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders

  • Scheduling and rescheduling updates

  • Responses to service inquiries

  • Requested Medicare information

  • Customer-support communications

  • Application or account-related updates

  • Educational Medicare information

  • Service updates and promotional communications

Marketing and non-marketing consent are collected separately. SMS consent is optional and is not required to submit a form, request assistance, receive insurance services, or purchase a product.

Consent to Receive Messages

By selecting an applicable SMS consent checkbox, you authorize Johnsonandcoadvisory to send text messages to the telephone number you provide.

Messages may be sent using automated technology where permitted by law. Your consent applies only to the message categories described in the checkbox you select.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry, appointment activity, service requests, and communication preferences.

You may receive multiple messages related to an appointment or request, including confirmation, reminder, follow-up, and customer-support messages. Marketing messages may be sent occasionally if you separately consent to receive them.

Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you from Johnsonandcoadvisory and messages you send to us. Contact your wireless carrier with questions about your messaging or data plan.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to a message from Johnsonandcoadvisory or texting STOP to (650) 374-8880.

After receiving your STOP request, we may send one final non-promotional message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will no longer receive messages covered by the withdrawn consent unless you subsequently opt in again.

We also honor other reasonable requests to revoke consent. You may contact us at (650) 374-8880 or and clearly ask us to stop sending text messages.

Help Information

If you experience problems with the messaging program, reply HELP for assistance.
